€20m new factory for braking manufacturer Lumag

11lumagBraking components manufacturer Lumag has announced that construction is underway on a €20m new factory, which it says will significantly increase its current production capacity.

The new facility, which will be located in Budzyn, Poland, includes both a manufacturing plant and warehouse space, along with new office buildings. The factory will be used to produce brake pads and linings on fully automated production lines.

Head of Lumag’s sales department, Krzysztof Żywanowski, said: “The new investment at Lumag is the response to a rapidly growing need for friction materials, and for drivers and mechanics that always look for the best product. This must be a very good quality, tested product, manufactured in Europe and sold in at an affordable price. This is Lumag and Breck.”

Production at the new facility is expected to begin in August 2013.
