allisonzetrosVisitors to the bauma 2013 exhibition in Munich this year (15-21 April) will be able to see various examples of how construction and mining operators are specifying Allison fully automatic transmissions, for vehicles working in some of the world’s harshest environments.

Allison Transmission, which will be exhibiting in hall A4, booth 304 at the event, is specified by OEMs such as Perlini, Astra, Mercedes-Benz, Randon Vehicles and Hino Trucks.

Said the firm: “Site operators investing in increased performance and improved productivity, despite the obstacles such as steepening grades, perilous surfaces and unmerciful temperatures… choose Allison transmissions to carry their heaviest loads up the highest peaks and far beneath the earth’s surface.”

Among the Allison-equipped vehicles at the event will be the Mercedes-Benz Zetros 1833 (pictured), a 4×4 underground mining tractor (hall B3-B4, booths 11 and 13), and Bell will present the new B25E and B30E articulated dump trucks (hall B4, booth 108), all equipped with Allison 3000 Series fully automatic transmissions.

Meanwhile, TEREX will show the TR400 and TR60 models (hall F7, booth 710), and Perlini’s earthmoving DP 705 dumper will also be present (hall B4, booth 109). At Iveco’s stand (hall B5, booth 205/306), visitors can see the new Astra HHD9 equipped with Allison’s 4700R model, recently released following the success of the former HHD8.
