intro3Thousands of visitors are expected to descend on the NEC Birmingham from 9-11 April for this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show, which organisers say is the first event since 1988 with international status, and Europe’s biggest road transport exhibition this year.

The CV Show, which is owned by a partnership comprising the Road Haulage Association (RHA), the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) and the Institute of Road Transport Engineers (IRTE), will this year feature 420 exhibitors, representing more than 500 industry suppliers.

Representatives from across the road transport industry are once again gearing up to make the annual pilgrimage to the event. The looming Driver CPC deadlines and the continued concern over high diesel prices are guaranteed to be on the agenda for show visitors and exhibitors alike. So will the shift to more stringent emissions standards for new vehicles – and several manufacturers will be displaying their Euro 6 ranges at this year’s event.

In addition to the large selection of both heavy and light commercials on show, a host of industry suppliers will be showcasing their aftermarket products and fleet management services. The dedicated Workshop section is also back for 2013, with an assortment of parts and components, garage equipment, workshop tools and more.

Visitors can register for their free tickets to the CV Show via the official website, www.cvshow.com .
