Extended coverage for aide trailer diagnostics system
Vehicle equipment supplier aide automotive has announced an extension of its Code Talk trailer diagnostics offering, which now covers WABCO TEBS E.
Code Talk is a handheld trailer diagnostics manual for repairers of older trailer ABS systems or the latest EBS systems.
The diagnostics handset communicates with a trailer’s ECU, reading and clearing ABS/EBS fault codes on WABCO, Knorr-Bremse and Haldex systems. Trailer workshops can eliminate fault-finding by reading the ECU codes to determine where a fault lies, aide says, while the ability to clear historic codes is ideal for service and inspection applications.
Applications covered now include Haldex ,WABCO and Knorr-Bremse ABS; Haldex EBS Generation 1, 2 and 3; WABCO TEBS E & D; and Knorr-Bremse EBS Generation 1. Future updates will cover newer systems.
Code Talk, which carries no annual software fee, also acts as a remote control for the TrailerCheck product range, providing further information on lighting wires, voltages and pin out information via the display.
