RoadHawk launches black box camera leasing options

roadhawk1Insurance-approved black box camera systems provider RoadHawk has announced the launch of commercial fleet leasing options for multiple camera systems.

The RoadHawk DC-2 forward-facing black box camera system and E-10 Multi camera system have become RoadHawk’s flagship insurance-endorsed cameras to provide evidential video, with full supporting data to exonerate drivers and cut the cost of crashes within commercial fleets.

The presence of RoadHawk camera systems, and later analysis of data they capture, can be used to encourage safer and more fuel efficient driving, the company says, while also enhancing driver security.roadhawk2

Responding to requests from many larger fleet owners, the leasing option provides fleet operators with the chance to spread the cost of RoadHawk systems over two or three years.

Taking into account current tax relief,  the customer will actually save money over the lease period compared to purchase and replacement over the same period, the company claims.

It also means that at the end of the lease, customers can keep up to date with the latest innovations by replacing the system with the latest product and continuing the lease.

Mark Nelson, managing director at RoadHawk, said: “In the ever-changing world of vehicle cameras, RoadHawk strives to maintain its market leading force by listening to the feedback from the people who need the best systems available and  constantly improving to meet these demands.”

RoadHawk black box camera recording systems were launched in 2008. They are approved by leading UK insurance underwriters, endorsed by the Road Haulage Association (RHA), and have also attained the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) ‘IAM Likes’ recognition marque.
