The Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) will be exhibiting at this year’s CV Show, and invites operators and drivers to visit its stand for an informal chat about the issues concerning them.

Staff will be on hand to answer questions on subjects such as drivers’ hours and tachographs; walkaround checks; online test bookings; authorised testing facilities; licensing and operator self-service, and individual vehicle approval.

As an executive agency of the Department for Transport, DVSA is responsible for HGV and PSV operator licensing; annual vehicle testing; enforcement of legal standards, regulations and drivers hours; testing vehicle drivers, and assessing testers. The agency also investigates vehicle accidents, defects and recalls.
