Following its launch at the Euro Bus Expo in November 2016, Fuellink will bring its latest product, VINIE, to the CV Show this month.
The system provides the customer with automatic vehicle identification (AVI), sent by Bluetooth directly to the fuel management system.
There is also the added option of transferring odometer readings and vehicle fuel tank levels while the vehicle is being identified.
This vehicle data, taken directly from the internal CAN, is said to offer 100 per cent accurate information at the point and time of fuelling, while also avoiding the risk of human error affecting odometer entries, and eliminating the possibility of misfuelling thanks to Bluetooth identification. A further claimed benefit is 45 seconds’ reduced fuelling time.
