Palletised freight network Pall-Ex has announced further expansion with the addition of five fleet operators to its UK membership.

Baytree Transport, based in Berkshire, will cover locations in the Reading (RG) postcode area; Denny-based XS Transport will manage parts of the Falkirk (FK) and Glasgow (G) postcode areas; and the Essex branch of FTS Group will operate across the Ilford (IG), Romford (RM), East London (E) and North London (N) postcode areas.

Also joining the network is D&S Transport, managing parts of the South West London (SW) postcode, as well as Neill & Brown Global Logistics, covering the Hull (HU) postcode.

Kevin Buchanan, managing director of Pall-Ex, said: “Our UK membership is thriving and we’re thrilled that reputable hauliers are continuing to see the benefits that come with being a part of our award-winning network. Each new member adds to our capabilities, increasing efficiency within specific locations thanks to dedicated, customer-focused teams that embody our passion for innovation, progression and quality.”

The network also reports expansion for member Aaron Logistics, which opened a brand new facility in Oxford earlier this year, having expanded operations beyond its Wrexham base.

The new location has reportedly seen steady growth throughout its first four months in operations, serving the Oxford (OX) and parts of the Reading (RG) and Northampton (NN) postcodes, in addition to the company’s existing postcode areas in the Chester (CH) and Llandudno (LL) regions.

Kevin continued: “It’s an exciting time for Pall-Ex, with the addition of new members and the success of others. Every step is contributing towards our strong reputation as the network of choice across the UK and Europe.”
