Capitb, the organiser of the Talent in Logistics Awards, has announced that entries for the event are now open.

The annual awards are designed to provide an opportunity to recognise, reward and celebrate professionals within the transport, warehousing and logistics industries that are inspiring and developing future talent.

“Talent in Logistics is the only awards completely dedicated to recognising the exceptional individuals that are essential to the success of the logistics and transport sector,” said Capitb, which also owns workplace transport training body RTITB and the new National Register of LGV Instructors (NRI).

“Uniquely, the awards also recognise the learning and development professionals that work tirelessly to attract, train and retain the very best people for this important sector.

“Entering the Talent in Logistics Awards online… is completely free of charge and enables organisations to demonstrate their commitment to quality training, and acknowledge the exceptional skills of their staff.”

The shortlist of finalists will be announced in April 2018 and the winners will be revealed during a black tie awards evening at the Telford International Centre on 21 June 2018. At the event, guests will have the chance to socialise and network, both with other learning and development professionals and potential suppliers.

A celebrity host will then announce which individuals, teams and companies have won the prestigious Talent in Logistics Awards 2018.

Tickets for the Awards can be booked via the website now, at special early bird rates.

Prior to the Awards evening, the Talent in Logistics Conference will take place at the Telford International Centre. The conference includes seminars, panel discussions and debates exploring the key issues facing managers and instructors in warehousing, logistics and transport. There will also be practical demonstrations to help improve LGV and forklift safety, and the Grand Finals of the 2018 Forklift Operator of the Year and Forklift Instructor of the Year competitions will also take place on the day.

Promotional opportunities are also available for organisations wishing to sponsor an award.
