3M vehicle graphics give brands a boost
Graphic materials specialist 3M has outlined how its latest film products can help vehicles stand out from the crowd for fleets of all sizes, from large operators to sole traders with one truck.
“Trucks and trailers are an excellent canvas for your brand, and you can instantly increase brand awareness among your customers by using 3M graphics to enhance your visibility and memorability on the road,” said Pen Webley, marketing manager for the 3M Commercial Solutions division.
“You can help ensure your fleet can be seen in times of low visibility by using our reflective and fluorescent graphic films.”
The company recently introduced the 3M Scotchlite Print Wrap Film 780mC-10R, which it says enables installers to create: “dynamic fleet graphics that offer brilliant brand visibility and safety with a daytime sparkle or night-time shine”.
“Engineered with wider retro-reflective viewing angles, this white print film’s chief advancement lies in its increased conformability and heat-recovery properties,” said Pen Webley.
“Film 780mC-10R handles the rigorous vehicle wrapping process with little to no bruising, something which is common during the installation of standard reflective films.
“If soft bruising or dark spots do occur during the installation process, the film can be ‘healed’ to leave a uniform graphic appearance with restored reflectivity and being highly durable.
“The film also allows seamless moulding around vehicle contours, such as door handles and bumpers making it the perfect choice for commercial vehicles.”
3M’s films incorporate new Comply Adhesive micro technology with non-visible air release channels, which the firm says helps ease both high precision installations and film removal, helping to ensure that branded graphics maintain a high-quality finish.
As with all the company’s colour and printable films, Film 780mC-10R comes with the comprehensive 3M MCS warranty.
3M also emphasised the importance of selecting the right installer.
