Operators interested in alternative fuels but wary of investing capital in non-diesel vehicles at this juncture are being targeted by Dawsongroup, which has a range of gas and electric options.

The Bath Clean Air Roadshow saw it showcasing products including Iveco’s CNG Eurocargo and LNG Stralis – both of which can be rented, leased or contract-hired.

On Stralis, it claims fuel cost savings of up to 40 per cent, giving an instant cost saving whether the truck is rented or contract-hired, and up to 15 per cent CO2 reduction, which can rise to 95 per cent if biomethane fuel is sourced.

The lighter CNG Eurocargo emits up to 95 per cent less particulate matter than the diesel version, reduces NOx by 35 per cent and CO2 by up to 10 per cent.

Dawsongroup also offers similar deals on the Fuso electric Canter.
