Hydraulic equipment manufacturer Majorlift offers a variety of jacking solutions for the truck and bus maintenance industries.

The privately-owned, British company has been producing lifting equipment for almost 30 years at its rural Gloucestershire factory, and cites quality, safety and support as key to its offering.

“With 95 per cent of all products manufactured in house and the company registered and regularly checked to BS EN ISO 9001 2015, quality can be controlled at all stages of production and therefore guaranteed,” said Majorlift.

Many safety features are incorporated as standard in all products to ensure that operators remain protected while in use, says the firm, while backup and support is key to every piece of equipment.

“Majorlift know how vital it is to support its equipment throughout its entire life, so have a wide range of spares along with an experienced team to ensure that that it keeps performing for many years,” the company added.

The core product is the pit and lift jack, which is said to be installed in most workshops throughout the country, and is available in either manual or air-over-hydraulic versions. with a lifting capacity of 8 to 40 tonnes. A number of accessories are also available, one of which further enhances its use by enabling the servicing and testing of light vans and cars.

Also available is the Majorlift transmission jack.

“It is a valuable piece of equipment that no commercial workshop should be without,” said the company.

“As gearboxes become larger and heavier, you need something that can handle the task. Majorlift manufacture both one-tonne and two-tonne capacities, in manual or air-over-hydraulic and a number of designs to suit each individual workshop.

“The most popular vertical design comes in two versions: one to be used under a lift or column and the other in a pit. In addition to this, Majorlift also produce two other models: one to run along the pit walls like a pit jack, and another one to run along the pit floor.

For added safety, a comprehensive range of lifting attachments are also available for all transmission jacks.

Majorlift says it has developed its extensive product range by listening and reacting to customers: its experienced design team quite regularly produces bespoke products for individual requirements.
