Loading equipment supplier WM System has reported an increase in its supply of ramps into the electric vehicle market.

Having been fitted to the Mercedes-Benz eVito, Renault Master Z.E., Nissan e-NV200 Voltia and other specialist conversions, the ramps are proving increasingly popular within the electric sector, the firm says.

WM System says its range of folding loading ramps offers a simple manual alternative to the powered options available on the market.

“The counter-balanced spring assisted ramps allow for quick, light, easy and safe deployment every time, with no worries about breakdowns or LOLER testing required,” said the company.

“Given the increase in electric commercial vehicles coming on the market, WM System have found their ramps the perfect partner for a bolt-on system which doesn’t need any power assistance to get going.”

It has also been supplying a number of ramps for front-line healthcare providers during the pandemic.

The range includes detachable options for applications where the ramp needs to be removed from the vehicle, as well as fixed versions. A variety of swivelling options are also available, as well as a selection of lightweight aluminium models.

The company also offers ramps suitable for mobility applications on passenger vehicles.

Full details of the range are available at the website.
