CV Show unveils June dates for 2021

Organisers of the Commercial Vehicle Show have announced that the industry event will now take place from 8-10 June 2021 at its usual venue, the NEC Birmingham.

The CV Show had initially been scheduled in its regular springtime slot, but bosses said the opportunity to shift to a summer date would ensure the team could deliver the best possible event.

“The 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show is set to be the first major road transport event in more than a year, and we are confident the 2021 Show will provide the ideal event for you to see new vehicles, products and technology alongside all of the networking opportunities that the Show is renowned for amongst exhibitors and visitors alike,” said organisers, in a bulletin informing stakeholders of the change.

“To date, we are delighted that already over 200 exhibitors have been allocated to the 2021 floorplan.”

As with most industry events this year, plans for the 2020 CV Show had to be put on hold, as the pandemic saw the NEC Birmingham converted into an emergency hospital to treat Covid patients in case capacity was exceeded elsewhere.

The CV Show team has assured exhibitors and visitors that it “will be taking all required measures to provide a safe and secure Show environment” in June 2021.
