A&R reaps rapid rewards with Fastview360
A&R Containers has reported a fast return on investment following the installation of vehicle camera solutions supplied by Fastview360, in order to ensure video evidence is available for potential insurance claims.
A&R Containers is a newly established business, part of a group which also includes A&R Haulage and A&R Commercial. The container company complements the haulage operation, offering a full UK and European service.
Fastview360 has supplied the A&R Haulage and A&R Containers fleet with a three-camera system including nearside, front, and blind spot cameras. The install process was scheduled around the customer’s needs to minimise disruption to planned logistics.
When Roland Hollings, transport operations manager, joined the company, A&R already used a camera system on its fleet, but it had failed to provide the video evidence required on multiple occasions.
“We had a rollover; we wanted footage to see what had happened, but it was just not there,” explained Roland. “The access platform broke, and there was a camera fault we weren’t aware of until we were looking for footage.”
After researching the options that were available on the market, he got in touch with Fastview360.
“Roland wanted to know he had a system in place that could be relied on, with great quality footage and support if he needed it. We were all too happy to do what we do best and provide the level of service and quality products that he would expect,” said Tracey Stringfellow, head of internal sales at Fastview360.
Roland continued: “We took the offer of a trial and loved what we saw. There are so many useful features to the system included in the packages. Pre- and post-sales support has been excellent, with nothing seeming to be too much trouble.
“The system paid for itself in the first month. In an incident where a car was 100 per cent at fault, the cameras provided the video evidence that we needed to secure the claim. Our insurer said it is the best system he has seen, with such clarity in daytime and night-time footage.”
