Thomas Armstrong gets testing with Continental

Thomas Armstrong Aggregates has invested in a new brake tester from Continental, after its existing Crypton equipment recently reached the end of its life following twenty years of service.

“We looked at quite a varied selection of brake testers on the market, but decided on the BM14200 based on the positive feedback from other customers,” said workshop manager Graeme Murphy.

“As we run a tachograph centre on site, we work closely with Continental so all our tacho and brake test equipment can be calibrated at the same time by the same engineer.

“The BM14200 fulfils all our brake test requirements. The added bonus is the one-man operation using the tablet linked to the main PC.

“The printouts are to DVSA standards and can be scanned into our workshop software system to ensure we are fully compliant with our maintenance records“.

Continental offers a full range of workshop, tachograph and data management equipment, with full service solutions for workshop managers, technicians and their customers.
