Everquip installs ProperPit for Martins Commercials
Inspection pit specialist Everquip has been successful in the tender for a new vehicle maintenance unit for Martins Commercials in Market Rasen, owned by Stuart Martin, brother of TV presenter Guy Martin.
Upon receiving the order by Martins Commercials, Everquip was asked to build a bespoke pit to incorporate the ‘Proper’ brand as used by Guy Martin. The ‘ProperPit’, the first of its kind, included a vinyl with the phrase #ProperPit and one of the Guy Martin Proper trademarked logos.
In addition to the 15m ProperPit, the project included a DVSA commercial brake tester and headlight tester, a new compressed air ring main, new oil hose reels with digital end meters, and a new waste oil outlet and waste oil drainer.
On completion of the works, Guy Martin sat down with Stuart Everard, Everquip’s managing director, to discuss the pit and the work that had been carried out.
“It’s a proper job, a proper pit,” commented Guy Martin.
