CV Show: Montracon to exhibit trailer range and load restraints

Montracon will have three trailers on its stand at the NEC this year: a postless curtainsider, a Morrisons fridge trailer and a machinery carrier.

A second fridge trailer will be positioned within the outside exhibition area. This trailer will be fitted with a Kinetic Refrigeration System. The system works by capturing the kinetic energy from the rotation of the trailer wheels and converting it to a power source for refrigeration.

A new load-restraint system, Retract ‘n’ Slide, will be shown on the curtainsider. Retract ‘n’ Slide features 13 independent cross-straps that can be positioned individually along the length of the trailer, and is suitable for single or double-deck trailers. Nets are available so it can secure delicate items or pallets.
