CV Show: Axtec to promote axle weighing solutions

Axle weighing specialist Axtec will be back at the NEC to promote its in-motion and space-saving dynamic weighbridge, accurate to within ±0.5 per cent.

Axtec is the calibration, certification and maintenance contractor for the DVSA’s national network of enforcement axle weighbridges, the majority of which are Axtec dynamic weighbridges.

Axtec says its axle weighing platform is designed for 40+ years of hard work. The dynamic weighbridge weighs vehicles as they drive slowly over the platform to remove the weight transfers that stopping and starting can have on compensating axles. Results are produced in less than 40 seconds.

The company, which utilises systems such as touchscreen and wireless technology, is regularly called as an expert witness in contentious overloading cases.
