CV Show: MIS to display web-based fuel management system

MIS Fuel Monitoring will be highlighting its Merridale Fuel Works web-based fuel management service at the NEC this year. Fuelling at the depot has been simplified by using new methods for obtaining the vehicle mileage recording.

Merridale has introduced a vehicle-mounted wireless transducer which can communicate with the fuelling point. Alternatively the Merridale data monitoring system can be integrated with vehicle telematics server to obtain the vehicle’s odometer reading or distance travelled information.

“By recording mileage information automatically, we have simplified the transaction,” explained sales director, Stephen Hannan. “All we need to do at the fuelling point is authenticate the vehicle, which is a simple procedure using either the Merridale data tag or a vLink cabled reader.”
