CV Show: Garage Data Systems to showcase workshop software solutions

Following its appearance at 2015’s Show (pictured), Garage Data Systems will be returning this year to showcase VideoNow (www.videonow.co.uk), an app for use with smartphones or tablets to create and send personalised videos. It includes a web-based dashboard to store videos and edit video presentation templates, and allows workshop operatives to provide their customers with a ‘technician’s eye view’ of their vehicle whilst it is being serviced, tested, checked or repaired.

Meanwhile, SmartView (www.vms.co.uk) is an Electronic T-Card System designed to manage vehicle workflow, said to be easy to learn and operate thanks to its Windows-based operation with a drag and drop interface. Developed in conjunction with main dealer groups, it is widely used in both dealerships and CV workshops, and is said to offer 100 per cent visibility and clarity.
