CV Show 2017: Axtec to launch artic axle load indicator

Weighing systems specialist Axtec has chosen the CV Show to launch its new Axtec On-board Axle Load Indicator designed specifically for articulated lorries, to help operators run vehicles legally at maximum gross weight for maximum productivity.

“Axtec OnBoard is easy to use, simple to install, and tamper-proof, having no external controls, knobs, buttons or switches,” said the company. “No settings can be accidentally changed and no driver training is required.”

“Axtec On-Board uses state-of-the-art surface-mounted electronics and a crystal-clear colour display with integrated touch-screen. Solid-state electronics enhance reliability in the harsh in-truck environment by eliminating moving parts while running at very low power, utilising only 1.4 watts.  The system can be powered either by 12V or 24V, without adjustment.”
