VLS welcomes Otto Lube as new member
VLS, the Verification of Lubricant Specifications, has announced that UK-based lubricants provider Otto Lube has become a new associate member.
Otto Lube, whose parent company is GIL (Golden International Lubricants) based in the UAE, provides a range of lubricants formulated with a virgin base oil blend – available direct via its website, or through distributors.
Mossa Jassim from Otto Lube said: “As modern engines have become more technologically advanced, superior oil quality is essential to sufficiently lubricate crucial engine parts during high-pressure combustion across wider temperature ranges.
“Our research demonstrates that constant use of poor quality oil will continually cause irreversible damage to internal engine parts and cost more fuel in the long run.
“We are delighted to be joining VLS and to be part of this industry leading initiative to promote the importance of lubricant quality and performance specifications within the UK lubricant market.”
The independent Verification of Lubrication Specifications aims to provide a credible and trusted means to verify lubricant specifications, bring transparency to the lubricant market place, and protect and educate the end user.
