Spafax expands road safety range
Vehicle mirror specialist Spafax has recently complemented its ‘unbreakable’ mirror range with a new ECE R65, R10 certified range of LED beacons, ultra-low profile LED directionals, LED worklamps and audio warning products.
The company says the new portfolio of visual and audio safety systems have been requested by its customer base for some time.
“Now it is possible for Spafax customers to consolidate their audio visual safety requirements into a trusted and highly quality driven supplier,” said the firm.
“As an example, Spafax’s new range of beacons utilise 36 x 1 .5 watt LEDs with low current draw to bring 360 degree assured visual safety warning, in a choice of 5 x different mounting formats all entirely applicable to the markets in which they operate, of HGVs, agricultural, construction, roadside recovery, highway maintenance, material handling etc.”

The mirrors are made from self-extinguishing compounds able to withstand impact from street furniture within public transport applications, through to ballistic impact and weaponry coil in military applications.
