Decade of diagnostics for Dr Air Brake VTC
Among the core products in Doctor Air Brake’s diagnostics range is the Van Trailer Check (VTC) system, said to provide an all-in-one testing and diagnostics solution for HGV trailers.
The company has now been marketing the VTC for 10 years. Although it looks the same visually, the engineering inside has undergone various changes, the firm says, allowing features like wired and now wireless remote control, and programmable timer functions for the light testing.
The customer can also choose the length of the 24N/24S and EBS leads they require. The system can work remotely with the DAB Code Talk, enabling further interaction with the trailer ECU (all ECU manufacturers) – allowing the technician to access error codes and clear them – as well as air pressure, wheel speed and voltage.
Doctor Air Brake emphasises the quality of its aftermarket operation, offering full calibration and if required, a call-out service and loan unit to avoid vehicle off-road time.
