Fastview360 DVS kits ‘make compliance simple’
Vehicle camera specialist Fastview360 has launched two Safe System Kits to help fleets comply with the requirements of the London Direct Vision Standard (DVS) – the DVS Standard Kit and the DVS Advanced Kit.
The difference between the products lies in the DVR recording systems that are incorporated. The Standard Kit includes the relevant cameras and basic coverage for full DVS compliance, while the Advanced Kit offers various additional benefits including live view, claims management, tracking and full monitoring of all of the hardware to ensure it is fully functional.
Users of Fastview360’s DVS-compliant kits include Whitworth Bros Ltd.
“The quality of the image is great and has meant we can resolve any issues as they arise even before the truck is back in the yard,” said Albis DeRosa, head of distribution at Whitworth Bros Ltd.
“Working alongside Fastview360, we have many trucks already installed with the DVS kits.”
Fastview360 added: “Our safe systems are compliant with DVS, FORS and CLOCS, we stride to make the customer experience positive, simple, and clear cut giving the best results.
“The directors of Fastview360 are from a haulage background and have over 25 years’ experience within the industry so understand what drivers and fleet managers can face. The systems are there to support the fleet and drivers, not to make drivers feel they are being watched.
“DVS is in place to make Greater London’s roads safer for other road users. This is the start of road safety being implemented and we believe that other cities could follow suit.”
