Brendeck electric washer avoids diesel costs
Washing equipment provider Brendeck has introduced an electrically-heated hot water high pressure washer to its range, ahead of government restrictions set to prevent the use of red diesel for pressure washers from 1 April 2022.
The unit features an onboard 300-litre stainless steel water tank, which is heavily insulated to maintain a high water temperature, complete with float switch isolator for low water and a digital temperature gauge.
It is said to be ideal for applications where exhaust from oil-fired pressure cleaners is undesirable or prohibited, as well as saving on costs of white diesel when the red diesel restrictions come into force.
The company says the product offers a range of advantages over diesel-fired 
options, including the elimination of emissions, fumes and noise from the burner, reduced operating costs, no manual filling of diesel, minimal servicing, and improved environmental credentials.
Two high efficiency immersion heaters are able to produce heat up to 85°C, and temperature can be monitored via a visual digital display on the dashboard. The system is fitted as standard with 24-volt control, anti-leak detection and auto time delayed shut down at zero pressure, which Brendeck says has proven to reduce maintenance costs by 75 per cent.
For prolonged lifespan the chassis is constructed from steel, which is zintec-coated with a polyester finish. It is also available in stainless steel.
