CTS unveils new AdBlue pump kits
Centre Tank Services (CTS) has launched new and improved versions of its Piusi-manufactured Suzzara Blue AdBlue IBC pump kits, in the form of Suzzara Blue 3, said to offer a more robust design and a range of new features at no extra cost to the customer.
“AdBlue has become a staple part of running a fleet over the last decade, and the Piusi Suzzara Blue pump kits have been supplied as a ready to dispense solution on IBCs by the leading AdBlue suppliers in the UK since the beginning,” said CTS.
“But as the AdBlue IBC market grew, so did the competition, with many Chinese manufacturers producing replica models. Piusi have always relied on their quality, Italian manufacturing to lead the way in the industry, but to help further distinguish themselves from other offerings on the market, they have now redesigned their AdBlue IBC pump kits to provide additional benefits which come at no extra cost to the customer.”
As before, the new Suzzara Blue 3 kits are still available in Basic and Pro versions, both supplied with Piusi AdBlue pump, delivery and suction hose and IBC connector: the Basic with a choice of a manual or automatic nozzle, and the Pro with Piusi K24 flow meter and automatic nozzle as standard.
Points of difference as compared to competing products are said to include a robust and sturdy roll bar enclosure. The original pump kit simply came mounted onto a plate, but the new design features a shock-resistant technopolymer roll bar around the plate, to ensure the equipment inside is protected from potentially damaging accidental impacts.
Like the previous Suzzara Blue pump kit, the new updated Suzzara 3 AdBlue IBC pumps can be easily mounted and moved between IBCs. However, with the new and improved version comes a locking bracket for a sturdy connection to the IBC bar. This feature ensures that the IBC AdBlue pump kit cannot be easily pulled off and damaged in the event of the driver pulling on the hose with force or knocking the kit accidentally.
Meanwhile, an integrated large practical hose holder allows the customer to roll the hose securely around the kit, keeping it neatly in place, rather than it being potentially left to drag along the floor to be stood on or driven over.
A further feature is designed to account for the fact that AdBlue crystallises when it comes into contact with air, making any drips from the nozzle into the holster a struggle to clean. The newly redesigned Suzzara Blue 3 Basic and Pro AdBlue IBC pump kits’ nozzle holster has a removable drip cup for easy cleaning, thereby avoiding this problem.
