Logistics UK gets back to the classroom
Following confirmation from the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) that classroom training for a wide range of professional transport qualifications can resume, Logistics UK has released its new classroom-based 2021 training schedule and prospectus.
Due to the popularity and growth of its online courses, launched within weeks of the first lockdown when face-to-face training was disallowed, Logistics UK says its training team will continue to offer online packages, alongside classroom-based and blended learning programmes.
After the launch of Logistics UK’s online courses in spring 2020 – including e-Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence), e-Transport Manager CPC and e-OLAT (Operator Licence Awareness Training Course) – many delegates said they enjoyed the simplicity and informality of this flexible learning concept, the organisation says, as it allowed them to study at their own pace, or participate in group activities with support provided by interesting, informative and engaging webinars.
The popularity and effectiveness of this format has confirmed a need that will outlive the pandemic lockdowns, says Logistics UK: simple, flexible, and time-effective training packages.
