Components provider First Line Ltd has boosted its steering and suspension portfolio to meet demand from the light commercial vehicle (LCV) sector.

“Naturally, we’re experiencing an increase in the number of LCVs on UK roads, as the world adapts to a significantly growing ecommerce market and the need to meet the demands of quicker delivery turnaround times,” said the company.

“As a result, the automotive aftermarket needs to react fast to meet this demand for high-quality parts to service this market. And as steering and suspension components are safety critical, First Line Ltd is urging the aftermarket to opt for quality to ensure added reassurance on UK roads.

“The premium quality range of steering and suspension components from First Line Ltd offers the aftermarket one of the most extensive ranges available.”

The company’s range, covered by both the First Line and Borg & Beck brands, contains more than 9,100 references, providing comprehensive coverage for passenger car, light commercial vehicle (LCV) and commercial vehicle applications,

Plus, in response to customer demand, the range includes over 60 Heavy Duty (HD) Stabiliser Link Bars, where the specification of the original item has been enhanced for certain harder working vehicles, to offer greater longevity of service life and product performance.

“First Line and Borg & Beck products save repairers both time and money, by including all the necessary fittings required to complete the job effectively and efficiently,” said the company.

“All ball joints, link bars and suspension arms that, where applicable, come with the necessary fitting components, can be identified by the ‘Includes Fittings’ logo on the packaging, giving you total peace of mind that what you need will be included with the part.

“An example of this is the front Suspension Arm (FCA7342/BCA7342) to fit Ford Transit 2014> applications, which is supplied with the fitting bolts included.

“With this clear message showing that the necessary fittings have been supplied with the component, technicians can be sure that a smooth and efficient installation can be carried out.”

There may be times when technicians need just the nuts and bolts, adds First Line – so as well as supplying the necessary fittings as standard, the nuts and bolts are available separately as Fitting Kits, thereby catering for any scenario.

To further aid the efficient identification of its steering and suspension components, First Line Ltd has added positioning layout images to its WebCat online catalogues, which it says has proven to reduce the look-up time significantly.
