Parksafe’s on-board CCTV solution
Parksafe Group has highlighted the features of its Parksafe On Demand 360-degree vehicle CCTV offering, which can be used to aid the resolution of disputed claims, as well as enhancing safety and efficiency.
The system enables fleet operators to help monitor vehicles and journeys while capturing video of any incidents, with all footage accessible through the Parksafe On Demand platform.
Users can be notified of real time events, with instant access via mobile app or a software package, providing 24/7 coverage. Managers can view live and historic footage and access real-time information such as vehicle location, journey data, speed and more. This can be crucial for vehicle safety while driving but also while the vehicle is standing still, says Parksafe.
“There’s no need for the vehicle to return to the depot before viewing or downloading footage, saving valuable time in resolving disputed claims,” said the company.
Advantages include the ability to remotely download, stream and playback video footage. Scheduled, automatic or manual download is available via 4G. Users can stream up to 16 cameras, and view all vehicles on one map. Active geofencing is available, as is full telematics with driver behaviour functionality, as well as health checks for SSD errors, video loss, over-speed, geofencing and G-sensor.
