Greenergy keeps fuel flowing for customers
National fuel supplier Greenergy has explained how it has been keeping customers supplied with fuel in spite of challenging recent circumstances.
With access to strategic infrastructure, a global supply chain, its own in-house haulage operation Flexigrid, and a 24/7 customer service team, Greenergy says it provides customers with a differentiated end-to-end fuel supply offer.
The company emphasises its commitment to delivering supply reliability and out-standing customer service to a growing customer base.
This is made possible, it says, through Flexigrid and its in-house scheduling, resourcing, and customer service teams, as well as its own driver fleet.
Flexigrid is partly owned by the drivers, which the company says enables greater trust and transparency. Together, the teams ensure safe and reliable fuel deliveries to customers’ sites.
Supplying fuel from 25 terminals across UK and Ireland, Greenergy manages its own fuel stock at 10 of these locations, importing fuel products from global sources.
With its own oil in tank, Greenergy highlights its ability to maintain control of its supply chain, and to also divert product as needed, providing customers with supply resilience, as it is not dependent on third parties for fuel supply reliability or haulage resource.
“The recent fuel supply challenges witnessed across the UK highlight why customer service and supply reliability are central to Greenergy’s operations,” said Caroline Lumbard, UK trading director at Greenergy.
“We listen to our customers and are able to respond to extreme shifts in demand quickly given our unique supply chain model, dedicated in-house haulage fleet and UK-based customer service team.”
Customer James Townsend, director at Pro-Petro Property, added: “The Flexigrid team have performed fantastically during the fuel crisis. At Sutterton Truck Stop, we had not a single day without fuel. I am so pleased we partnered up with Greenergy and look forward to working together on our future sites.”
Richard Martin, purchasing manager at Go-Ahead, commented: “Even under extreme pressure, Greenergy has managed to keep us always updated and, in most cases, was able to maintain our stock levels.”
Greenergy’s product offering includes higher percentage biodiesel blends, such as B20, which it began supplying to customers in 2018. The biodiesel used in Greenergy’s B20 is manufactured from waste in the UK at Greenergy’s own facilities on Humberside and Teesside, offering customers immediate carbon savings.
