Tracking made easy with TrailerMaster
Among the telematics solutions available from Axscend is the TrailerMaster app, which is said to enable time and cost savings by facilitating the easy management of trailer fleets.
Real-time data is fed to the app or desktop portal, providing alerts from the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), to help detect under- or overinflated tyres, prevent breakdowns and downtime, reduce fuel costs and increase safety.
TrailerMaster also interacts with the electronic brake performance monitoring system (EBPMS), which monitors and records every brake event as it happens. This data is adjusted to account for variables such as road angle and bogie weight, and is plotted in an easy-to-read graph against the DVSA pass mark.
The system also tracks trailers’ locations, viewable via a feature-rich map. Users can view a playback of journeys to see exactly where trailers have been, and what is available in a given location with the current bogie weight. Automated notifications of trailer departure and arrival times are also included.
In addition to enabling proactive management and ensuring trailers don’t go astray, the system enables monitoring of trailer utilisation to help fleets maximise productivity, says Axscend.
The system additionally monitors the bogie load, providing alerts when trailers are overloaded and enabling managers to maximise load to mile ratio.
It allows trailers that are loaded and parked for long periods to be identified, as well as those that are travelling empty for too many journeys. Coupled and uncoupled options are available.
A free demonstration can be arranged by contacting Axscend.
