IMS launches SAF axle disc brake refresh kits
Trailer components distributor IMS Group has introduced SAF axle disc brake refresh kits into its aftermarket parts product range.
“Both kits come complete with everything you require for a complete hub unit refresh on your SAF Holland B9 and BI9 disc brake axle,” said IMS Group.
“Hub units come complete built up with wheel bearings fitted and the brake discs connected.”
Benefits to the workshop and transport operator are said to include significantly increased durability due to the installation of original SAF Holland parts; reduced repair times due to pre-assembled components; and reduced workshop downtime.
IMS Group also highlights the cost advantage compared to single parts purchase, and the kits’ compatibility with steel and aluminium wheel rims with the 120 degree offset.
These units can be replaced either by axle or per tri axle trailer set which is recommended by SAF Holland.
The only other parts users would need to purchase to carry out this refresh job would be the compatible brake pad kits depending on what caliper was fitted to the trailer from new.
The SAF Holland B9 axle kit part number is 3434313500 and the SAF Holland BI9 axle kit is part number 3434313000.
