ByWater alert system boosts equipment uptime

Following extensive testing at its manufacturing facility in Coalville, ByWater Services has made its new GSM Alert System available on all its water treatment systems and pressure washers.

The GSM Alert System can be set up to provide alerts to customers and/or the ByWater service desk for numerous on-site conditions in real-time.

This means that intervention times for any fault situations are minimised, says ByWater, and uptime of the customer’s investment is maximised.

Sales director Simon Bywater said: “There are massive cost savings to be made by recycling the water used for washing commercial vehicles. For instance, on a busy bus wash, our systems can often pay for themselves in a matter of months. So obviously, maximising uptime is a huge benefit to our customers.

“All of our systems now come with the option of GSM Alert which can be set up to monitor any number of conditions.

“One of the great things about the systems is that they can also be retrofitted to most existing systems out there, and set up to monitor ageing equipment that may be subject to more regular fault conditions.”

ByWater Services, which recently achieved ‘Made In Britain’ status, provides everything from silt pits and pumps to turnkey washdown packages with project management.

The Constructionline Gold accredited company produces site specific plans and technical drawings for all projects, and a specialist nationwide service team carries out all installations and subsequent maintenance, which the firm says ensures customers get the utmost benefit from their investment.
