CV Show 2022 – Parksafe: pedestrian detection

Parksafe Group will be promoting several new innovations this year, including the new AI Intelligent Pedestrian Detection system.
Designed for use at the outer roofline of the vehicle, the system is said to eliminate blind spots and provide audible and visual warnings of pedestrians or cyclists on the road.
The system provides the driver with clear distances by measurement and colour codes (red, amber and green) which are displayed on the cab monitor, allowing the driver more reaction time as well as increased awareness and confidence in congested areas, says Parksafe.
The system can be fully integrated with the Parksafe On Demand Website platform, allowing users to remotely view live footage, download footage remotely and track vehicles’ locations.
