FORS, the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme, returns to the CV Show with its new management team in place.
European technology leader Sopra Steria is charged with managing the international accreditation scheme, while new FORS concession director Ian Henderson has a clear goal; to place the FORS community of accredited operators – some 4,900 fleet operators across the UK – front and centre of the future of the scheme, as it develops its mandate to drive-up industry standards.
2022 sees Version 6 of the FORS Standard come into effect, the document which outlines how FORS operators must meet the accreditation criteria. Effective later this year, it focuses on helping FORS operators make the shift to decarbonisation as the industry faces ever-tougher emissions targets.
