Dennison Trailers has almost 60 years’ experience in the trailer-building business, manufacturing a broad range including skeletals, curtainsiders, tippers, platforms, machinery carriers, and drawbar trailers, as well as specialist units such as the sliding bogie.

Still family owned and run, Dennison began manufacturing trailers in Northern Ireland in 1964, and moved to a site just outside Dublin in 1970.

In 1983, It opened its current manufacturing plant in Naas, Ireland – and six years later, another in Lancaster to serve the UK market.

The company developed the unique sliding tipper trailer concept in 2002.

“Designed to benefit operators currently running 8 x 4 rigid tippers, the sliding tipper offers higher payload, greater fuel efficiency, more flexibility in operation, and considerably greater manoeuvrability on site, including sites where access and space are limited,” said the firm.

Having manufactured more than 65,000 trailers, Dennison says it aims always to present superbly engineered products that are both safety and quality compliant. Its customer base includes many well-known haulage companies and transport operators in the UK and Ireland.

Designed to get parts to operators as and when required, the Dennison Fast Parts service is dedicated to keeping trailers on the road and in first-class condition.

“Available throughout the UK and Ireland, Fast Parts offers a single source of high-quality, approved parts from reputable manufacturers for all makes of trailer,” said the company.

Today, Dennison Trailers says it is experiencing rapid growth in sales of curtainsiders, platform trailers, and trombone trailers, as well as its range of machinery carriers. It also reports a healthy export market and is also successfully expanding into other markets including construction, timber, steel, and oil industries.
