Expo launch for EOS e-learning app
E-learning specialist EOS Training is launching its new TM Guide App at the Euro Bus Expo at the NEC Birmingham on 1 November, to help managers of goods and passenger transport fleets keep abreast of ever-changing operational and compliance requirements.
EOS Training has been serving the freight and passenger transport sectors for three decades, and supplies training material for both freight and passenger Manager CPCs. It provides colleges, private training providers and transport operators across the UK with both tutor and student material, as well as home study packs for self-learning.
Having initially focused on paper-based solutions, the company has extended its activity in recent years into the design of e-learning and information portals.
The new TM Guide App is designed to incorporate regular bulletins and quarterly updates, says EOS, unlike hard-copy operator or driver yearbooks which can be out of date at the time of print and cannot be amended.
The app includes 30 modules related to business and operational aspects of passenger and road haulage transport management. Multiple-choice and case study questions after each module help ensure knowledge of current legislation is up to date.
No internet connection is required to use the app once downloaded. Features include a search tool, bookmark and ‘resume quiz’ button.
EOS Training says the app offers an ideal means of maintaining professional competence outside the classroom setting, and a cost-effective way to ensure continuing professional development, with certificates granted on completion.
Visitors to the Euro Bus Expo can learn more about the TM Guide App at Stand E31 at the Euro Bus Expo, where EOS will also be showcasing its new interactive, industry-backed Manager CPC e-Learning platform.
