AS 24 enhances EuroPilot offering

Tolling, tracking and fuel services provider AS 24 has recently announced an upgrade to its premium Passango EuroPilot service to enhance user experience, with features such as a new interface for geolocation, streamlined navigation, easy access to key features, and more customisable options.

“With the Passango EuroPilot offer, you have more control over your mobility,” said the company.

“In addition to the advantages of the Passango Europe offer, Passango EuroPilot offers many high added value services.”

The package includes real-time vehicle monitoring from the Customer Area and the Fleet Manager mobile application, as well as secure fuel transactions: users can check the toll payment tag badge’s GPS tracking data against that of the AS 24 station, and receive alerts.

In France and Spain, the system tracks usage anomalies: for example, if a route is forbidden, a toll plaza is not detected, or if the vehicle class is incorrect.

EuroPilot also features HGV-specific maps, provides simulation based on the characteristics of the user’s vehicles, and routes suggested take any vehicle constraints into account.

The Visibility option within Passango EuroPilot enables the sharing of geolocation data (GPS) of the trucks with charterers, enabling them to follow the location of their cargo in real time to streamline operations.

Depending on the charterer’s needs, this can be achieved by transferring raw data that will be integrated into the shipper’s own system, and/or by sharing the geographical position and status of each vehicle (stopped/low motion/travelling) on a dedicated and secure online platform.

“More than just data sharing, Visibility is a relationship of trust and transparency between the AS24 customer and his charterer with the common objective of optimised management,” said AS 24.
