Boston four-poster gives vehicles a boost
Among the workshop lifting solutions offered by Boston Garage Equipment is a 6-tonne, 6.1-metre four-post lift, the B461-610, which the company says represents an inexpensive option that has been well received in the market.
The unit offers a lifting height of 1.86m and is fully approved for MoT Class 4, 5L and 7 testing. Its 630mm platform widths enable safer testing of larger vehicles.
Features include hydraulics and motor on the outside edge of the front column for maximum working space; a membrane keypad control panel with single button descent operation; safety switches and lock release solenoids mounted inside the crossbeam to help avoid potential damage; and recessed radius turning plates with nylon runners (meaning no metal-on-metal contact with the platform).
Options include integrated twin-plate PD303 hydraulic play detectors with dual controls on lift keypad and remote torch; and any post control (APC) functionality, whereby a separate lift control keypad can be placed on any other post for flexible operation.
