CV Show 2023 – Cubo: telematics and fuel efficiency

The Commercial Vehicle Show takes place from 18-20 April at the NEC Birmingham.
Telematics specialist Cubo will be promoting services such as its web-based MyCubo portal, which provides real-time access to driver and vehicle data, as well as incident and live camera footage.
The company has been working in partnership with Ireland’s government and South East Energy Agency in delivering The Greener HGV Programme, which allows Cubo to demonstrate the impact of its technology on fleet safety, efficiency, and the planet.
Its work with O’Neill’s International Transport reportedly yielded fuel savings of 9.3 per cent, after the haulier took advantage of a 30 per cent software and hardware grant, subsidising the use of Cubo’s technology and driver training. Hardware fitted included vehicle trackers, fuel monitoring, remote tachograph download technology and four-way DVR cameras.
