CV Show 2023 – Parksafe: low bridge detection

The Commercial Vehicle Show takes place from 18-20 April at the NEC Birmingham.
Parksafe Group is officially launching its Low Bridge Detection System (LBDS) at this year’s Show.
The LBDS requires zero driver input; the driver doesn’t need to need to know the height or width of the vehicle, as this is dealt with at installation.
The system uses GPS vehicle location data and geofencing to warn drivers of upcoming low bridges via LED-enhanced alerts and an audible warning system that automatically activates, helping to prevent disastrous collisions.
It can be used as a standalone product, integrated into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter, or linked to the live Parksafe On Demand online platform.
The full Parksafe range includes telematics, AI technology, dashcams, CCTV, digital video recording, lighting, power inverters, ultrasonic sensors, alarms and consumables.
