LPW acquires Ashford truckwash site
Vehicle cleaning specialist LPW Group has announced the takeover of popular UK truckwash site, Ashford International Truckstop.
The group’s latest acquisition grows its existing network of truckwashing facilities, now consisting of eight sites across the country.
The acquisition comes two months after LPW announced a new site in Chesterfield, and further bolsters its growth plans and expanding network. The group’s other sites are located in Alconbury, Avonmouth, Castleford, Coneygarth, Felixstowe and Purfleet.

The new LPW Ashford truckwash will accommodate a single truck wash bay, and will be open Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to 5.30pm.
LPW, which has more than 50 years’ experience in the industry, says its team understands the importance of a perfectly cleaned vehicle, and is dedicated to ensuring each unit leaves its site in top condition.
“They will hand-finish the cabs, wheels, and chassis, using ISO9002 standard Traffic Film Remover detergent, and the highest quality cleaning tools,” said the company.
Alongside LPW’s truck cleaning services, a dedicated food-grade tank wash facility also operates from Avonmouth and Purfleet sites. The wider group also operates a mobile fleetwash division, which allows customers’ fleets to be cleaned on their own site, at a time convenient to them.
