Tammer continues to keep fleets clean
Tammer UK Ltd offers a portfolio of washing equipment for standard and heavy-duty vehicle applications, including rollovers, jet wash systems, installation, service maintenance, callouts, parts and cleaning products.
The company is the sole UK distributor for global manufacturer Tammermatic, based in Tampere, Finland, which has been exporting vehicle cleaning products worldwide since the early 1970s.
The range incorporates the latest Rainbow Ultima Fleetwash two/three-brush, brushless high pressure and combined systems, all available in washing heights from 3.6m up to 5.1m to enable cleaning of most regular and bespoke fleets’ vehicles.
Design features of the Ultima include cross-over side brushes and a central lubrication system operated from a low-level integral electrical control cabinet, as well as various technical and mechanical innovations, and stainless steel parts/panels said to ensure reliability and longevity.
The combined models have advanced brushless and brush wash methods for cleaning vehicles from cars to irregular shaped tractors and trailers.
“An advanced brush inclination is an important feature in modern wash machines,” said Tammer.
“The Tammermatic Rainbow Ultima’s solution is to pneumatically control the brush inclination instead of the traditional power push and tilt method.
“Given the full action Crossover side brush design, the Rainbow Ultima two-brush is able to clean both fronts and rears of vehicles. In our opinion, the Ultima two-brush cross over version can offer a better wash quality than some other three-brush systems.”
The company also supplies a full range of both static jet wash machines and mobile pressure washers (three or one-phase, hot/cold versions), and a variety of associated equipment such as water recycling systems, GRP housings, air/water towers, under-chassis washers, washbay screens, heavy duty vacuums, as well as a full range of jet wash boom systems.
Tammer also highlights its extensive vehicle cleaning products range. The TC2000 Plus Soap is said to be the ideal cleaner for all vehicle paintwork, and to avoid dulling that can be caused by some traffic film removers.
