FuelDefend rolls out Radar Scan
The newest safety product development from CV equipment supplier FuelDefend Global is the Radar Scan radar detection solution, designed to help protect vulnerable road users.
“Radar Scan from FuelDefend is the very latest in radar detection technology working in all weather conditions and temperature ranges, that vastly reduces false alarms,” said the company.
The out-of-the-box solution is said to require no calibration, and features a warning display with visual and audio output and a light sensitivity sensor.
The system detects pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists, and also incorporates lane departure warning technology. It can be fitted to any vehicle, says FuelDefend, and is expandable to meet all requirements.
FuelDefend Global was founded in the UK in 2005 by Russell and Veronica Fowler, who saw a huge global demand from the industry for fuel protection. The company’s anti-siphon concept proved a success, and it has since built up its range, adding additional products for fuel protection and accessories, as well as safety solutions like Radar Scan.
“FuelDefend has an extensive distributor network, allowing it to sell products around the world,” said the company.
“Currently supplying some of the biggest truck manufacturers in the world, such as Scania, Paccar Group (DAF, Kenworth, Peterbilt), MAN, and more, FuelDefend are always looking towards innovation to further advance its product offering and with its new tech division can offer the very latest in technology-based vehicle safety and security.”
