Cabins stay comfortable with Webasto Cool Top
Webasto’s climate control product portfolio includes the Cool Top 23 RT-E electric rooftop air conditioner, which is said to guarantee low humidity in truck cabins.
“This powerful rooftop system ensures pleasant temperatures in truck cabins during parking position over longer breaks,” said the company.
“The electric unit is driven by vehicle’s battery, reduces engine idling times and therefore saves fuel. The low-voltage cut-off ensures that the engine will start.
“Moreover, the high performance combined with lightweight construction and flat design results in one of the best parking coolers. Installation in the existing roof opening is very simple and saves time.”
The parking cooler system is powerful (2,500 W) with high energy efficiency, adds Webasto.
“The condenser uses double brushless fans with low power consumption, low noise, and long service life.
“Lightweight construction and the flat design enables the installation also on high cabins. The electronic system controller provides stable performance, and it is suitable for a wide range of vehicles, compatible with the original vehicle interiors.”
