Majorlift gives workshops a boost
Majorlift’s workshop equipment range can complement and enhance the versatility of vehicle lifts, the company says.
Its jacking beam designed for commercial vehicle and bus lifts is rated up to 12 tonnes lifting capacity, and is available in manual or air over hydraulic operation. It is designed to accommodate vehicles of various wheel bases, from heavy trucks to vans, as it has a sliding frame. This beam will fit almost all makes of lift, says the firm, and comes complete with a full range of adaptors.
Another piece of equipment manufactured by Majorlift that can complement vehicle lifts to make lifting safer and easier is the transmission jack, which can be used in conjunction with the lift to enable heavy components such as gearboxes to be removed and replaced by one mechanic. This product is available in 1 or 2 tonnes lifting capacity, again in air over hydraulic or manual operation.
Majorlift is a British company and has been designing and manufacturing hydraulic lifting equipment in its rural Gloucestershire factory for almost 50 years. Almost all components are manufactured in-house and a five-year warranty, subject to terms, is offered on most products.
