Don-Bur trailers deliver for Bond International

CV bodywork manufacturer Don-Bur has completed a new batch of six full print livery box van trailers for Bond International, a repeat customer since 2004.

The customised trailers are designed to carry tyres, featuring reinforced internal body walls to prevent bowing under heavy loads.

The trailers, which feature a step-frame chassis for easy loading and unloading, are equipped with aerodynamic side skirts that not only enhance fuel efficiency, says Don-Bur, but also add to the sleek, professional look.

With a tandem axle setup on small 235/75 R17.5 tyres in a twin formation, the trailers achieve a remarkably low rear floor height of just 900mm, facilitating easier access.

The vibrant livery, produced by Don-Bur’s in-house graphics division, Sapphire Graphics, utilises the company’s new EFI UV printer, and features superior colour fastness and durability thanks to an automatic protective clearcoat film said to ensure long-lasting quality.

Simon Ewbank, commercial director at Bond International, expressed his satisfaction with the new trailers, stating: “We are thrilled with the quality and attention to detail that Don-Bur has provided once again. The new livery not only enhances our brand’s visibility but also reflects the reliability and innovation we strive for in our operations.”

The manufacturer added: “This 2024 order signifies the continuation of a successful partnership between Don-Bur and Bond International, underlining Don-Bur’s commitment to delivering top-tier commercial vehicle solutions tailored to the specific needs of their clients.”
