WabcoWürth: multi-brand diagnostics with W.Easy
For around 15 years, WabcoWürth Workshop Services GmbH has been equipping workshops, fleet managers and a wide range of facilities with vehicle diagnostics solutions. The company says its diagnostic tool supports more than 112 manufacturers, 1,018 models and 21,244 systems.
“With the cross-brand diagnostic solution for trucks, trailers, buses and vans and the modular W.Easy concept including hardware and software components, customers receive a customised diagnostic solution – from entry-level packages to complete solutions,” said WabcoWürth.
“The customer chooses from a portfolio consisting of a workshop laptop with pre-installed W.Easy software, individual software modules, through to comprehensive technical data and work values. Thanks to technical enhancements, Wow! car diagnostics is fully supported.”
The W.Easy multi-brand diagnostic system also integrates the original diagnostics from Wabco and Haldex without the hassle of changing devices, the company adds.
“In this way, WabcoWürth not only guarantees the correct execution of sensitive calibration processes today, but also in the future – from the drive to the brakes to the lighting,” it said.
WabcoWürth’s in-house development department creates tailor-made solutions for special sectors such as buses and special vehicles, which it says are perfectly balanced between standardisation and individuality. The W.Easy diagnostic data is only sent to the customer after strict testing.
Features of W.Easy multi-brand diagnostics include a Secure Gateway Portal, offering simple and cross-brand access to encrypted vehicles via single sign-on. A Flight Recorder provides mobile data recording at the touch of a button for advanced fault diagnosis. With Smart Guide, online comparison in real time supplements read-out error codes with additional information such as possible error causes and test instructions.
Further cited advantages include readiness for future communication protocols, for a fast and secure data flow without adapters; PassThru, which enables the use of OEM software without additional hardware; and support for the first electric and hybrid commercial vehicles with growing vehicle coverage.
WabcoWürth says it is revolutionising the manufacturer-compliant calibration of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) with W.Easy ADAS Calibration. The solution is said to make calibration simple, fast and precise, increase the efficiency of workshops, and ensure greater safety on the roads.
WabcoWürth also offers air conditioning service solutions via its Coolius series of A/C service units, which it says makes servicing air conditioning and thermal management systems ‘child’s play’.
“Whether R134a or the latest refrigerant, WabcoWürth has the right solution,” said the company.
It additionally emphasises its support offering.
“The experts at WabcoWürth are there for their customers, from advice to service. No external customer service, but everything from a single source. There is also customised training, e-learning from partners ZF and Haldex and a multilingual product and vehicle hotline. Smart financing solutions guarantee customers the use of the latest diagnostic systems.”
